Hear Their Silence!

A collection of products aimed at bringing awareness to the Silence many find themselves in when they are depressed or possibly having suicidal thoughts. This project comes from my own battles with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. I found that when I am at my low point I become silent. 

In 2019 I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety causing panic attacks and I felt like I was having heart issues. I started having moments when I would feel like I was going to pass out. That was very concerning which is how I ended up seeing a doctor.

I look back on that year and found that I was making the subtle comments of not being around. I can count on one hand the amount of people that actually checked on me in a sincere manner, and I have fingers left over. I became silent about the issues I was dealing with. You could have called the suicide helpline and handed me the phone and I wouldn't have spoken to them. I didn't and still don't want to be a burden to anyone.

This is the reason Hear Their Silence and Every 1 Matters is so important to me. We may not be able to save every one, but through awareness maybe we can save 1, and Every 1 Matters. Making a purchase of these items will hopefully start people around you talking and asking what its about. 

This is not geared towards the people who are fighting this battle everyday. This is aimed at the people that surround the ones who are fighting. Its time to take action and check on your people. Notice the changes, notice the subtle comments, notice the look on their face. Sincerely ask them if they are doing OK, at least attempt to start the conversation. If you cant check on them, ask someone else to check on them. Actually Hear Their Silence!
